Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of findmyKOL. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

findmyKOL is a free directory of key opinion leaders assembled from public U.S. federal datasets, with every number cited to its source. A free account adds a workspace: saved lists, panels, searches, and a monthly allowance of profile reveals. Paid plans, when they launch, will be governed by these terms plus the plan terms presented at purchase.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password confidential. Accounts are for individual professional use; do not share credentials or create accounts by automated means.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the directory,
  • resell or redistribute the service or its data as a competing product,
  • use the site to harass, defame, or discriminate against any person,
  • probe, disrupt, or circumvent the security or access controls of the service.

Directory content and accuracy

Profiles report what the public record shows: counts, years, identifiers, and links to the underlying government records. We work to resolve records to the right person and we suppress matches that do not meet our evidence bar, but we do not guarantee that any profile is complete, current, or error-free. If you believe a record is wrong, tell us and we will review it. Our methodology describes how profiles are built.

Not professional advice

The directory is an information tool. Nothing on the site is medical, legal, or compliance advice, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement of any person.

Not a consumer report

findmyKOL is not a consumer reporting agency and the directory is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not use the service to determine any person's eligibility for employment, credentialing, licensing, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose that would require compliance with the FCRA.

Intellectual property

The underlying federal data is public. The site itself, including its design, software, resolution methodology, and the compilation of the directory, belongs to findmyKOL. You may link to and quote profiles with attribution; you may not copy the directory at scale.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, findmyKOL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to 100 US dollars.

Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may modify or discontinue features of a free service at our discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state in which findmyKOL is organized.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
